Introduction to Forensics

Over time, criminals have become more sophisticated in the ways that they commit and attempt to get away with crimes. Fortunately, the technology and practices of those who investigate crimes have also become more advanced. Forensic science is the science of using evidence to determine who committed a crime and how it was committed. Going beyond circumstantial evidence and eyewitnesses, forensics allow guilt (or innocence) to be proven through science. There are many different categories of analysis in forensic science.
